🔥 1. Temperature Matters More Than You Think
Too hot → fragrance evaporates before you pour.
Too cool → oil won’t bind well with the wax.
Finding the sweet spot is the key to a strong scent throw.
🧪 2. Different Waxes = Different Melting Points
Soy wax melts around 120–130 °F (49–54 °C).
Beeswax needs about 145–150 °F (63–66 °C).
Coconut and paraffin fall in between.
Know your wax → control your scent.
🕰️ 3. When to Add the Fragrance Oil
Best moment = when wax is fully melted but not too hot.
For soy wax, try around 170 °F (77 °C).
Stir slowly for 1–2 minutes to help the oil blend evenly.
💨 4. Cooling Time Also Matters
Let the candle cool slowly at room temperature.
Quick cooling can trap scent or create frosting.
Patience pays off in a better fragrance release.
💡 5. My Little Trick
I use a thermometer every time I pour.
It’s a tiny habit that changed my candle quality.
Remember: temperature is not science only — it’s scent magic.
